Kelime Bulucu - A Word-Finding Application for Chrome
Kelime Bulucu is a Chrome application that is based on Kelime Bulucu, the Turkish language form. The source material is the Turkish language and the goal is to make the application easy to use, both in terms of the interface and functionality. In other words, to make it easier for the user to create a sentence in the language, and to find out the meaning of the sentence in a short amount of time.
To do this, the application can be used in different ways. There is an auto-completion function wherein the user is typing a word or a name, and the application is checking its database of possible suggestions. The user can select a suggestion by clicking on it. The database of suggestions can be searched from the main window or by searching for a keyword.
A suggestion is shown by displaying its name, the database in which it is located, and the number of results that are present in that database. If the user wants to continue typing, a list of possible words appears. This list can be scrolled up or down, or the user can enter a new word by himself. When the user clicks on the next or previous word, the word is inserted into the text field.
Another feature is the dictionary function. Here, the application is checking the meaning of a word.
